About the house

A peaceful stop in Brandal.

Leitehuset with a large terrace and view towards the fjord

Leitehuset is located in Brandal on Hareidlandet. Brandal has long traditions from Arctic whaling and coastal fishing. It is a short walk down to the sea, to Ishavsmuseet Aarvak and to hiking trails along lakes and fjords.

As our guest you have access to the garden and the whole house to yourself.

On fine-weather days you can see the sunrise from the living-room window if you are an early riser, and behind the house the forest's own livestock, deer, graze. At Kvitneset, a walk of about 3 km, you can watch the sun set into the sea in the evening or experience historic bunkers from World War II.
